The Kissing Bridge by Tricia Goyer is the kind of story that you shut off your television, cell phone, and computer to getaway from our day. It makes you break away from the day-to-day and pool in a chair and enjoy this story that is unfolding before your eyes. Amish living is so very interesting to me that I always look forward to new stories to devoure as soon as they hit stores. This is the story of Rebecca, a young woman, who is struggling with her Amish living and life threw her a curve with an unexpected death that she took to heart. It became the catalyst for her to leave her community and embark on a life-altering journey that would lead her to where she needs to be and to whom she needs to be with to get back to being her most truest and fulfillest self. This is going to sound terrible, but I enjoy reading the struggles of characters who lose themselves only to eventually find the path that is right for them. I was given a review copy and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
