Motherless by Erin Healy is one of the most painful stories I have had to read. It may have to do with the fact that the plot line hit close to home. I related to the idea that we will do anything for our loved ones at whatever cost be that pain or loss. Everyone involved becomes a victim and the recovery process is much more painful than the lie itself. This story delivers. I was completely enthralled from page 1 to the last word. I know that I was happy lost in this painful world. If anything can be learned it is that life matters and love matters. This is a story that sticks in the mind far too long and it can lead to change, an actual game changer. I was given a reveiw copy for this review and all opinions are my own.
