Saddle Blazers

It may the hardest task in life to be the front runner in any field but some of the best took the leap to be the best. Boys Among Men: How the Prep-to-Pro Generation Redefined the NBA and Sparked a Basketball Revolution by Jonathan Abrams is such a great read into one of the most controversial aspects of the professional sports. Should 18 year olds be allowed to move into the professional arena? Abrams delves into this subject and gives one of the most up-to-date vies on this issue. He attains some of the best interviews from many of the important individuals be them players, coaches, and commentators which makes reading this book that much more enjoyable. I thought this book was going to be full of his views for or against and completely dry and it was not. I know virtually nothing about basketball aside the basics so this was so interesting and I could not put this book down. And I love basketball now. I cannot wait to enjoy some of the playoffs going on right now. A must read. I received a copy from blogging for books and all opinions are my own.
