As someone that did not have the greatest of relationship with my mother I could not really appreciate the importance of this story. Mother/daughter novels always leave me feeling a bit disconnected, not depressed so much as just out of the loop. This Too Shall Pass by Milena Busquets is centered around the aftermath of the loss of a families matriarch. It can be beautiful I just did not get that feeling while reading. I found it to be a bit boring at times and some what long winded so it kind of fell short for me. That may just be because of the relationship aspect, but other readers may find it wonderful. I just was not one of them. I received a copy for this review from blogging for books and all opinions are my own.
